Members walk Sunday 18th October
Dorset for Europe members are hoping to get together for a walk on Sunday 18th October at 11am near Charmouth.
This follows on the success of our two previous rambles, in May and September, in conjunction with the National Rejoin March Rambles. This time we would like to walk on the other side of the county, inviting ramblers to join us from Devon for Europe.
The walk from Stonebarrow Lane to Seatown is just 3.4 miles but, since it crosses over Golden Cap, is quite hilly. We would book a table at the Anchor Inn in Seatown for those wanting a Sunday lunch, after which there would be a choice between a 3.4 mile walk on an inland route to complete the circular, or a lift back to the Stonebarrow Lane car park.
As with our Wareham walk, some may wish simply to come along for the convivial lunch, which we would book for 1pm.
